We know a good production climber is also a good rescue climber and a good tree rigger is also a good rescue rigger.
So we at Pro Climb have designed a unique arborist training programme where we combine aerial rescue, tree climbing and tree rigging training in an all-in-one package.
This training is offered biannually or annually, depending on your needs. An arborist training day always consists of an aerial rescue refresher and some new climbing and rigging techniques that will be customised to your demands.
This approach will raise the level of competency of all individuals in the company and create a safer and more efficient work environment.

Customised Arborist Safety Training
When new tools and working practices are added to a company’s working procedures there is a high risk of hazards not being identified. Discussing and showing how to use new tools, equipment and techniques in a training environment enable the user to ask questions and use these under supervision.
We pride ourselves with being up to date with new arboricultural climbing and rigging tools and we are constantly working on safe operation procedures for them.
We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of some of these tools and show ways how to use gear in the safest and most productive way by implementing some simple new techniques and configurations.
A company employing climbing arborists is required to ensure that the arborists have a valid first aid certificate, a recorded 6-monthly PPE inspection, regular aerial rescue training and a regular safety induction.
The price for the 2 day course is NZ$520 incl. Gst per participant at our public workshop locations.
The price for the 1 day course is NZ$290 incl. Gst per participant at our public workshop locations.
Both course are also offered in-house, please contact us for a quotation.
