If you read user manuals of climbing gear most of them will state the product has a certain life span.
This lifespan will vary depending on the material its made of and the conditions its used in.

We train qualified and/or experienced arborists and tree workers. Our goal is to increase the productivity and safety of all tree work for the climbing arborist.
All the Pro Climb trainers are expert tree climbers, qualified and are very experienced. Our head trainer Rossy has 25 years of international experience.

A company employing climbing arborists is required to ensure that the arborists have a valid first aid certificate, a recorded 6-monthly PPE inspection, regular aerial rescue training and a regular safety induction.
Help build the Specific Wood Weight Table
Please help us build the NZ wood weight table for arboriculture. Simply cut a piece of branch or a disc from a trunk. Then measure the middle circumference and length, and weigh it with a fishing scale or a similar device. To increase accuracy, best take the measurement when the wood is freshly cut.
