Treetools asked Pro Climb to trial the new DMM Rigging Hub (HUB175). So after looking at it for a week we decided to give it a go. The Hub is constructed so that it can be used with or without connectors, what means that you can tie webbing slings as well as ropes directly into the hub. This eliminates the possibility of connectors being side-loaded. The unique design allows a whole new range of possibilities for tree rigging and crane work. We are waiting for the publication of some test results from DMM before we can do a final statement, but we believe that the Rigging Hub will make tree rigging in the future safer and more efficient.
