A very big thank you to all the Tree Climbing Competition participants, volunteers and supporters. We are very proud to announce another very successful Tree Climbing Competition this year!
We will share all the news about the competition and especially the results as soon as we can. We expect NZARB to publish all the infos within the next month.
Auckland Regional Tree Climbing Competition a Success!
Congratulations to everyone who participated and supported this year!
Three great climbers qualified from Auckland region at the tree climbing competition in Wenderholm Regional Park in May. They are Shaun Hardman, Johno Smith and Jed Copsey. Good luck guys!
Congratulations also go to Chelsea Robertson from South Island, our only one female competitor.
The Wenderholm Park competition was an amazing weekend away from Auckland in a stunning regional park, full of mature London planes, Pohutukawas and other lovely trees. Climbers, volunteers, judges and visitors made this event very special, full of networking, knowledge sharing and great competing.

Pro Climb SUD 1 or 2 Day Programme
A company employing climbing arborists is required to ensure that the arborists have a valid first aid certificate, a recorded 6-monthly PPE inspection, regular aerial rescue training and a regular safety induction.
Help build the Specific Wood Weight Table
Please help us build the NZ wood weight table for arboriculture. Simply cut a piece of branch or a disc from a trunk. Then measure the middle circumference and length, and weigh it with a fishing scale or a similar device. To increase accuracy, best take the measurement when the wood is freshly cut.
