Tree Climbing Project Case Study
For this tree climbing project, we were approached by Rebecca from the University of Auckland. Rebecca is currently pursuing a DocFA candidateship and required some help with setting up a time-lapse camera on one of the trees near the Auckland volcanic field. Help build the Specific Wood Weight Table
Please help us build the NZ wood weight table for arboriculture. Simply cut a piece of branch or a disc from a trunk. Then measure the middle circumference and length, and weigh it with a fishing scale or a similar device. To increase accuracy, best take the measurement when the wood is freshly cut.
