Hackfalls Arboretum Working Bee 12-13 November 2011

23/08/2011 by clickthrough

This November it’s time to pack up the climbing gear, camping stuff and the family and head up to the Hackfalls arboretum. Located in Tiniroto near Gisborne, Hackfalls Arboretum is home to over 3000 species and varieties of oaks, alders, cherries, magnolias, maples and more. The collection of evergreen and semi- evergreen Mexican oak species is considered the largest private collection of oaks in the world. Hackfalls boasts a variety of spectacular walking tracks, lakes and gardens to visit. The Hackfalls arboretum needs a hand with some tree work, so what a great opportunity to get together for a good cause. We thought it would be nice to combine the work with some knowledge sharing:

  • Using hitch climber to its full potential.
  • SRT Access.
  • Dynamic climbing with modern friction hitches.

This is a wonderful event to get involved in. So click on the link below to download more information.
