Climbing 1: Introduction to Modern Tree Climbing

A basic understanding of tree climbing is required.
This workshop is designed for experienced arborists and tree workers who climb in a traditional style. After attending this course the participant will understand the difference between modern and traditional tree climbing. Participants will learn safer and more productive ways of tree climbing. Cost: $115 incl. GST
Climbing 2: Advanced Tree Climbing Techniques

Climbing 0 or 1 or equivalent required.
This workshop is designed for arborists and tree workers who have a basic understanding of modern tree climbing. The workshop will cover: Climbing on a short climbing system, climbing with the hitch- climber, climbing with redirects and forces involved, using an access line, climbing with multiple anchor points or climbing ropes, traversing in the tree, and aerial rescue (footlock access). Cost: $125 incl. GST
Climbing SRT(access): Introduction to SRT Access (Single Rope Technique)

Climbing 0 or 1 or equivalent required.
This workshop is designed for arborists and tree workers who have a basic understanding of modern tree climbing but have not yet or just started using SRT access.
After attending this course the participant will understand the advantages and disadvantages of SRT access systems, and be able to use them safely. The participant will also be able to rescue a workmate out of an SRT system. Cost: $125 incl. GST
